Soma Health has established a charitable fund, The John Barnett Burns Education Fund.
The late Mr. John Barnett, Plastic Surgeon, was a leader in thedelivery of coordinated burns management training for Interplast and iswell renowned and appreciated for his work in this area in PNG, Fijiand Samoa. In recognition of his valuable contribution, Soma Healthhas established a charitable fund, The John Barnett Burns EducationFund. This Fund is used to support activities with a focus onburns management; and may include formal training courses, trainingattachments and research or other related activities directed toimproving the management of burns.
In this first instance, we will be supporting the delivery of 2 EMSBcourses and 1 Instructor course in PNG scheduled for the 20th-22ndMarch, 2008.

SOMA Simulation Centre-largest in Australasia
Soma Health launches the SOMA SIMULATION CENTRE, Australasia's largest private simulation centre.
Our mission is to teach medical staff crisis management as well as to extend the traditional simulation teaching to didactic teaching.
We aim to run this centre using Soma efficiency and thus markedly reduce the price of courses, so that more medical practitioners, nursing staff and paramedical staff can attend.
