In our approach to consulting, our aim is to enable the client to achieve their benchmarks for their hospital; in terms of patient care and economic benefits.

We understand the business of healthcare and we are able to assist our clients in looking at what they do from a different perspective. We assess what they do in ways they may not have considered and arrive at benefits they had never anticipated.

Our recommendation following initial review is sometimes that you do not need our services. This surprises some clients; however our role is one of honestly adding value to your business. If we do not honestly believe we can add significant value; we will not take on the project.

John Fawkner Private Hospital

Consultation was established on policies and procedures at John Fawkner Private Emergency Department. SOMA Health established a brief and feasibility analysis on converting a rapid assessment unit into a 24-hour acute care emergency department. This brief was accepted and SOMA Health currently manage John Fawkner Private Hospital Emergency.

Hobart Private Hospital

A brief consultation on the current established performance of Hobart Private Hospital Emergency has lead to substantial recommendations for the improvement of this department and its integration within the rest of the hospital. These recommendations have been accepted and SOMA Health currently manage Hobart Private Hospital Emergency Department.

Bendigo Emergency Department

Soma Health has undertaken a review of Bendigo Health Emergency Services on behalf of the Department of Human Services. The review focused on flow and efficiency mapping, and recommendations for improving Key Performance Indicators.

The Valley Private Hospital

Soma Health recently completed a review and assessment of the Emergency Services at The Valley Private Hospital.

Modbury Public Hospital

A consultation on Emergency Services has been conducted at Modbury Public Hospital for the sole purpose of supplying assistance with minimization of risk exposure.

Essendon Private Hospital

Soma Health have recently established a consultation of Essendon Private Hospital for Independent Private Hospitals of Australia Group. This has lead to a review of admissions and billing criteria used within the hospital complex.

Malvern Private Hospital

Soma health has been involved in a review process of this hospital.

Mountain District Private Hospital

Soma Health has been involved in the business development of this site, though review and redevelopment of patient care and management processes, as well as advice on maximising throughput and financial returns.
