The Resuscitation Conference, Resus 2010 was an incredible success. This two day conference held on July 10-11th in Melbourne Australia attracted national delegates and keynote speakers.

The aim was to put on an Australasian Conference that dealt with this all important topic. With over 250 delegates, this pure academic conference delivered some important keynotes including: 'ACS in 2010' and 'Resuscitation- When to Stop', 'Penetrating Neck Injury' and 'Pulmonary Embolism  Diagnosis - Still and Artform?'.

Dr Peter Kas gave a very successful Advanced Airway Workshop on October 27th In Abu Dhabi

Soma Health were recently involved in the Abu Dhabi Emergency Congress. Soma Health were Gold sponsors for the conference and Dr Peter Kas presented a paper on Electrical Burns, and an Advanced Airway Workshop.

Our involvement was a great success with a huge amount of interest in the education programs. 

Blog image   Thank you to all the Doctors who recently undertook the 'Airway CPR and Trauma Management' workshop. This was designed specifically to deal with issues that may occur when medically covering the horse racing events. It was great to see everyone play all out. The group also consisted of critical care trained nurses and emergency nurses. It was a full day and we got to cover the essentials of airway and trauma management directly in relation to horse racing.
